OK, I admit that I got the idea for this cake from Pinterest. Thought it was such a pretty winter cake and when a friend asked me to create a birthday cake for her father's birthday it is what came to mind. My version is far from perfect! I might need to practice more. It had actually been a long time since I had decorated a cake. Anyway, just wanted to share the final results it with you. She had to travel to another province with this cake, which scared me a bit, but I just talked with her and she said that she managed to make it there just fine. Even the cake survived the trek! Happy Birthday! Everyone enjoyed it, which is great too!
